Qaseed helps online stores ask their buyers for reviews. This page explains what data that involves, why, and for how long.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Draft: Final text pending (T004). This page summarises how Qaseed is designed to handle data; the binding version will replace it before launch.
Who we are
Qaseed is a review service for online stores and websites. Businesses (our clients) use it to invite their buyers to review what they bought and to show approved reviews on their sites.
For buyer data, the business is responsible for the data it brings, and Qaseed processes it on the business’s behalf.
What we collect
We keep only what the service needs:
- Businesses: account name, email address and password (stored hashed), workspace details, and billing status.
- Buyers: name, email address and/or phone number, and purchase facts (what was bought, the order reference) sent by the store or its platform app.
- Reviews: the rating, text, photos and video a buyer submits, the consent choices they made and the history of their edits.
How we use it
To send review requests by email or WhatsApp on behalf of the business, to show the reviews the business approves, and to keep the service secure. Photos are re-encoded and stripped of location data before they appear. Our widgets do not track visitors.
How long we keep it
- Deleted reviews: wiped after 30 days (only an audit record without personal data remains).
- Deleted workspaces: erased after 30 days, media included.
- Webhook payloads: purged after 30 days. Delivery logs: kept 13 months.
Your choices and rights
Buyers can edit or delete their review, or withdraw promotional consent, at any time with the private link they received, and can unsubscribe from requests in every message. Anyone can ask us for access to or deletion of their data: see the data deletion page.
